#OOTD – the week that was on fleek

It’ been a month since awards season and a lull has set in on the fashion front. Emma Watson wrapped up her impeccable press tour for Beauty and the Beast, and it feels like everyone has decided to stay home and take a much needed rest after all the excitement. Sure, there were a few noteworthy moments at the Paley fest,  but overall, thing have felt very quiet. Then there was this past week  – and it was the gift that gave generously. I didn’t get the chance to chronicle them individually because #workwoes so here they are, my favourite style moments.

  1. Selena Gomez in Isabel Marant

Sel 1

I have not always been the biggest fan of Selena Gomez’s style. It always seemed a little bit trying too hard to me. That changed last year, sometime before she took her break from the public eye, and I’m very happy to see that the streak continues.  I am so in love with this Isabel Marant dress that I’d happily trade a kidney or other vital organ for it. Can I just say #closetenvy ?

2. Mila Kunis in Brunello Cuninelli

To say that I’m a sucker for a well executed black ensemble is a bit of an understatement. That disclaimer aside, I do love Mila Kunis’s wide legged jumpsuit – its casual and undestated yet so chic. Mila has never been one for a lot of fuss, and so the styling with simple black and white sandals was a master stroke, wouldn’t you agree?

3. Efrat Dor in Gauri and Nainika

I’ve been a huge fan of Jessica Chastain’s style, and so I was really looking forward to the premiere of The zookeeper’s wife. But it was Efrat Dor who knocked it out of the fashion park and took my breath away in her vibrant yellow Gauri and Nainika gown. Just #goosebumps

4. Anne Hathaway in Vintage Armni Prive

I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Anne Hathaway’s style. That was most definitely not the case when I these pics of her at the premiere of her new movie, Colossal. For the occasion, Anne delved into Armani Prive’s archives and found this gorgeous tiered and tasselled dress with its structured neckline from 2006. No etra embellishment was needed and so she added only with a muted clutch. The result was breath taking perfection.

5. Cara Delevigne in Alexander Vauthier, Mugler

There’s never a dull moment when Cara Delevigne is out and about. And it’s easy to see why she’s considered one of fashion’s IT girls. The girl could probably make a hemp sack look good! Here she is in Alexander Vauthier, Mugler and a monochrome emsemble.

6. Minka Kelly in Alice + Olivia

Minka Kelly’s pretty floral skirt gives me summer vibes. Also, #trendalert but more on that later!

7. Kourtney Kardashian

And finally, Kourtney Kardashian showed off her fashion stripes – and not one but two #trendalerts, but more on that in another post.

So what think you of these ladies’ fashion statements?
